The Matrix: how conspiracy theorists hijacked the 'red pill' philosophy

"This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back.

You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe.

You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Remember: all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more"

- Neo from "The Matrix"

I'm a consultant and past executive of 20 years. I teach at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, at Microsoft, and at other great companies. I teach a lot of business students and executives. And I have a Ted Talk.

I teach leadership and coach teams in this unique experiential way - without PowerPoint - that is great for accessing the truth in teams, creating deeper connections, true collaboration, and more creativity to achieve teams' objectives.

This way of teaching demystifies the myth of leadership by making it tangible, visible, discussable, and, more importantly, learnable in real time beyond old theories or hypes.

With this method, people practice and develop their listening, reflection, and communication skills in real-time. They learn how to influence others effectively to reach significant goals and how to deal with differences and conflict.

Feel free to take a "look under the hood" about what we are discussing.

This way to improve team effectiveness is so great that we made it available to the world to learn: you can try it out on your own and learn from the video clips available on this website.

But, realistically: will your people train themselves to do this, as I'd be doing anyway? If you need help bringing this simple yet radically effective way to learn to your team, you can hire me, and I'll make it awesome for you.

Let’s talk.

WHAT IS THIS METHODOLOGY?

Invented at the Harvard Kennedy School, Case-in-Point is an immersive and experiential methodology for teaching leadership by experiencing, recognizing, naming, and reflecting on essential leadership concepts as the group experiences them in real-time.
